Job: TOPS Well Services Engineering Technician I
Location: Greater Rocky Mountain Region
Schedule / Rotation: 14 Days-On Duty x 14 Days Off-Duty
Position Summary: Provides real-time engineering support to meet the Company and Customer’s hydraulic fracturing objectives. Works with multiple departments to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
· Utilizes engineering/science degree to provide first-hand support and recommendations to clients on-site.
· Review job proposals to understand scope of work and help Operations and Logistics teams in job preparation.
· Monitor all aspects of treatment using various data collection and analytic software.
· Provide operational risk assessment and recommend treatment design changes as needed or requested.
· Prepare post-job summary reports, field tickets and regulatory disclosure forms.
· Provide accurate real-time on-site laboratory testing when required.
· Understand various completion technologies, tools and materials used in fracturing treatments to provide technical expertise on-site.
· Participate in pre-job safety and operations meetings to ensure that all aspects of the job are carried out in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
· Participate in post-job meetings with clients and operational personnel to review job performance.
· Participate in special projects and assignments to further knowledge of industry methodology and technologies to further recommendations to clients and within The Company.
· Understand basic operation of equipment in order to discuss real-time operational issues with clients
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics – Required
· Proficiency with all of MS Office 365
· Ability to work with clients and co-workers in a fast paced highly adaptive setting
· Ability to work long hours in remote settings
· Works well independently and as part of a team
· Eagerness to continuously learn new skills and technologies
· Non-DOT pre-employment drug screen required (provided by employer)

Pay: $67,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
