Join our team within Moog’s Military Aircraft Group, where you will contribute to the development, testing, and production of advanced electronic systems supporting mission-critical aerospace applications. These roles include test engineering and product engineering, which provide hands-on technical ownership across the full product lifecycle—from design and validation through production support and continuous improvement.

These positions are onsite, first-shift roles based in East Aurora, NY. Qualified candidates are eligible for competitive relocation assistance to support a smooth transition to the Western New York area.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain electronic test equipment and systems
• Create test interfaces, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, and power distribution systems
• Develop test software using tools such as LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or C#
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and production test issues
• Support all phases of the product lifecycle including development, NPI, and production
• Maintain product quality, reliability, and on-time delivery through issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain production documentation (work instructions, test procedures, etc.)
• Monitor and improve key metrics such as first pass yield, cost, and quality
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, test, and suppliers to support product performance
• Lead or support continuous improvement and design change initiatives

To be considered for the role here is what you would typically bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 3-5+ years of experience (up to 10 years ideal) in test engineering, product engineering, or electronics development
• Strong understanding of electronics at the circuit and system level (analog, digital, power)
• Experience with test equipment, troubleshooting electronic hardware and software assemblies, and root cause analysis
• Experience with programming or test software development tools
• Experience with PCB design, test system development, or aerospace/regulated industries
• Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, and product lifecycle processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a production environment
• Ability to travel up to 10–15% and meet export compliance requirements

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
