Royal Interpack Group is a member of Royal Holdings (Thailand). Royal Interpack was started in 2000 operating out of a small industrial unit with two vacuum forming machines and a handful of employees. Royal Interpack covers a 35 acres site in Chonburi, Thailand where we recycle PET bottles to RPET sheets to RPET/ PET rigid packaging serving produce, bakery, food processors, convenience (Grab-n-Go) and deli markets.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Plastics Manufacturing Quality Coordinator who has experience in Quality Assurance and/or in Quality Control. This candidate must have experience in food manufacturing and/or plastic manufacturing and/or packaging manufacturing and is able to work with minimum supervision and think independently.
This person must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Qualifications:
- Experience with measuring equipment, SPC, GR&R and quality systems is REQUIRED.
- Quality Technician certification desired
- Advanced computer skills are needed for this position
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and think independently
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent walking and lifting of up to 50 pounds are also required
- Bilingual preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Compliance to AIB International
- Ensure all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
- Adhere to safety rules and procedures
- Following departmental rules and regulations including, but not limited to, quality equipment and security of the QC lab
- Complete understanding and ability to perform the tasks described in the QC Inspector job description
- Provide leadership/ direction to quality inspectors/ packers
- Develop Quality and production training programs regarding general, product and customer specifications. This training will include detailed descriptions of what is acceptable and not acceptable as it relates to dimensional, visual and function specifications and attributes.
- Maintain quality manual
- Act as an SPC resource to production and quality personnel
- Measures product quality using statistical methods, control charting, and process improvement techniques
- Updates and maintains Quality Department databases
- Conducts various quality tests to ensure customer specifications are met and prepares reports.
- Processes customer complaints
- Accurately completes all required quality inspections, including quality system ISO Audits
- Other duties as assigned
To ensure product safety, this position will:
- Adhere to GMP requirements
- Frequently inspect the production area and identify product and/or situations that risk product contamination and implement ways to prevent contamination
- Frequently inspect the production area and identify production and/or situations that violate cleaning and pest control requirements
- Oversee maintenance activity to ensure product safety.
- Ensure employees follow procedures, work instructions, etc. to produce quality and safe product
- Ensure quality inspectors follow procedures, work instructions, etc. to product quality and safe product'
