Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery
Lead cross-functional engineering projects from concept through stabilization
Develop detailed project plans including scope definition, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
Define and coordinate dependencies across operations, IT, finance, vendors, and clients
Proactively manage risks, issues, and change control
Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, cost, and performance objectives
Engineering Design Ownership
Lead detailed facility design, layout validation, and material flow optimization
Integrate safety, compliance, ergonomic, and operational constraints into engineered solutions
Define engineering assumptions, risks, and mitigation plans
CapEx & Project Leadership
Own small to midsized CapEx initiatives from business case development through implementation (sub $250k)
Lead warehouse re-engineering and redesign projects
Work with Sr. Leadership to ensure timely delivery of project on budget with intended outcome
Systems & Analytics
Develop algorithms and advanced models for labor planning, slotting, and flow optimization
Define functional requirements for analytical tools, dashboards, and internal systems
Ensure data models align with operational reality and decision-making needs
Software Product Ownership
Act as product owner for scoped engineering tools and third-party software implementations
Own feature prioritization, backlog definition, and delivery tradeoffs
Lead UAT, deployment planning, and operational readiness
Partner with IT, vendors, and operations to ensure successful adoption
Implementation & Change Management
Own implementation readiness including training plans, documentation, and operational handoff
Validate post-implementation performance against baseline and engineered expectations
Lead DMAIC projects and mentor junior engineers
