Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager to lead our software testing initiatives and uphold the highest standards of product quality. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.
• Lead the execution of various testing types including functional, system, performance, load, security, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript to accelerate testing cycles.
• Coordinate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and TFS for seamless deployment workflows.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects identified during testing phases and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Oversee test data management using SQL databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB to ensure accurate and reliable test environments.
• Manage defect tracking and reporting through tools like Jira or HP ALM while ensuring timely resolution before release milestones.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with stakeholders to validate that solutions meet business needs before deployment.
• Drive quality assurance best practices across Agile and Waterfall SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies to enhance overall product reliability.
• Monitor system performance metrics using LoadRunner or similar tools to optimize application responsiveness under varying loads.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance leadership within a fast-paced development environment.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, and scripting languages including Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms for mobile applications using tools like Appium or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing using Postman or SoapUI; proficiency in API automation is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall models; experience implementing DevOps practices is advantageous.
• Expertise in database management and data analysis skills utilizing SQL (MySQL, SQL Server) or PL/SQL for test data validation.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines integrating Jenkins or Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues across diverse systems.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting test procedures clearly.
• Technical proficiency in tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Maven, Ant, Linux/Unix environments; familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
