Pros

It continues to be an honor and a privilege to work at Best Point. I have been here to see and be a part of many, many changes over the years. With each change comes excitement, growth, opportunity and yes, some challenges and tears. Through all this, Best Point has remained, and I know it will always be focused, never faltering from the reason we are here. To serve, support, and nurture our clients, families, and the community.

Pros

I have been very pleased with my time working at BestPoint. I have been in my position for almost 4 years, with no desire to work anywhere else. The company is supportive, the Care Coordination department is incredibly welcoming and energetic. You won’t come across a “bad” supervisor. My supervisor has advocated for me and has provided me with insight, support, and encouragement. I have created amazing bonds with other employees who share my same values and are always willing to share helpful tips and resources!

Cons

The pay could be better, but honestly, I will choose this company over better pay any day. Good companies are so hard to come by. Bestpoint is a true gem. I would like further career advancement opportunities, but I have felt heard when I expressed this and the company is actively working on addressing this to give opportunities to people not looking to get further education.

Pros

I have been with Best Point for almost 4 years, and I have felt valued and supported throughout my journey with them. I started out as a school-based therapist before being promoted to a care coordination supervisor, and in each role I've had, I have had wonderful supervisors and managers who have guided and supported me and who have truly listened to me and care for me. I believe in Best Point's mission, and I see day in and day out the work that is done by everyone from direct client providers to executive level personnel to carry out this mission. It is easy to experience burnout when working in community mental health, and Best Point knows this and has worked hard to create a culture in which employees can feel open to share these feelings and can participate in agency-created events to help manage the stress of the job.

Cons

Can be easy to feel burnt out working in community mental health
