There's this weird invisible hierarchy where people who've been there forever get better treatment — better shifts, more trust, actual acknowledgment — and everyone new just figures it out eventually or leaves. I tried raising operational stuff that would've made the actual work easier and got smiled at and nodded at and watched nothing happen, zero follow-up. They say 'we're like a family' but families actually talk to each other and try to solve problems together, not just tolerate dysfunction while the same people stay comfortable.
