Union Health Honored with 2026 Regional Market Patient Experience Leader Award The Qualtrics Health and Life Sciences Practice recently honored Union Health with the prestigious 2026 Regional Market Patient Experience Leader Award, celebrating their bold vision and rapid advancements in elevating patient experience. The impressive progress reflects Union Health’s dedication to listening deeply, acting quickly and creating meaningful improvements across patient touchpoints.
The Easter Bunny made his traditional early pit stop in Terre Haute for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. More than 100 kiddos and grandkiddos of Union Health co-workers enjoyed the fun-filled event. Thank you to all the volunteers that made this event a success.
Union Health announces the appointment of Robin McCallister as Chief Nursing Officer, effective March 1, 2026. McCallister brings more than 32 years of dedicated service to Union Health. She began her career as a Respiratory Therapist before moving into leadership positions, including System Manager for Respiratory Therapy in 2001, where she oversaw organizational growth, process improvements and technology enhancements. In 2014, McCallister transitioned into nursing leadership as Director of Nursing Operations. In this role, she has been a strong advocate for nursing staff and a champion of patient‑centered care. Her background across both respiratory therapy and nursing provides her with a broad, collaborative perspective that will shape her leadership as Chief Nursing Officer. “I am honored to serve in this role, grateful for the exceptional team I work alongside, and excited for the impact we will make together,” McCallister said. With her extensive experience in clinical operations, McCallister is well positioned to guide Union Health’s nursing teams and advance the system’s commitment to nursing excellence.

This week is national Certified Nursing Assistant week! Across Union Health, over 150 patient care technicians (PCTs) provide exceptional care to our patients. We are so grateful each person who has answered the call to health care.
