      Software Engineer Interview

      Las Vegas, NV
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Light & Wonder (Las Vegas, NV) in May 2026

      Interview

Don't interview with this company! Incredibly dishonest hr employees. I had applied and scheduled a phone screening quickly after I applied. I set aside time from my current job to interview and nobody called me! The recruiter said that the interview never got added to her calendar. I tried to reschedule, and got one response and then nothing! I had to reach out to the recruiter's manager on LinkedIn over a week later to express that I was still interested. The following morning the recruiter said she tried to email me a while ago but the email bounced! Very dishonest people and what a mess to try and just do a 30 min phone screening.

      Interview

Scheduled an interview for the Software Engineer role but no one showed up. I waited 30 minutes and sent multiple follow-up emails in case the hiring team missed the scheduling, but there was no reply. It was unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for candidates' time.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Light & Wonder (Bengaluru) in May 2026

      Interview

Interview process was smooth. With HR team regularly updating the status on time. Interviewers were also polite and they made sure that the candidate was comfortable. Just one thing was missing and that was the feedback at the end of the rounds.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The first round consisted of OOPs and DSA question. Questions were from method overloading and deep dive into interface and bottlenecks like diamond problem with real coding outputs. Also an array rotation question was asked which can be found on Leetcode. The second round was a screening round with live game building on screen share with approach discussion at the end. The only thing was that the feedback was conveyed at the end of the round properly.
