Was contacted first by a Recruiting Firm, which gave me a few phone calls to assess my background. In essence, these were interviews where we not only discussed about my current situation, but also about my technical skills. Then the recruiter recommended me to the hiring manager who gave me a call as well. We spoke about my experiences (basically went over my CV.) Had a second round interview with the hiring manager to follow up on more specific questions (my questions for them).
After a few weeks, recruiter sent me the offer letter.
