Pros

It’s a job and the pay is ok.

Cons

Promises more than it gives Sales Associate (Current Employee) – NJ – October 14, 2018 You will be sold a lot at interview about how great it is to work there and how much the owners and management care about their employees. You will find out your opinion doesn't matter. Do it their way or the highway. The managers think they are great but they are very poor and have never been trained in how to be managers, so they are poor leaders. Most people that are there a long time are disappointed and looking for something else. Benefits are middle of the road. Like lots of other things about this company they used to be great. Bottom line is if you want to make $50-$75k a year (not bad) and never see your friends or family, and work late nights and weekends (terrible), and do what you are told 60 hours a week (worse) go ahead. If not, find something else. Pros Free lunch on Sat Cons See above. Not a great work environment.

Pros

Opportunity to earn money Ethical car sales. I’ve worked other car sales jobs that a bulk of the job was lying to the customers. They actually take customer service pretty seriously here so that’s good. They’re also mostly transparent (we are told to cover some things up, or lie about other things, but they’re mostly pretty honest and transparent)

Cons

Home/work life balance. There is none. This is not the job you want to have if you have a family or a life outside of work. Expect to work 50 hours a week, sometimes more. When you break down your pay vs the hours you work, you’re making pennies. I’ve been here for a few years and have seen countless people come and go, and I’m now at my breaking point. Happy workers work harder and the owners don’t care if their employees are happy. Expect to work multiple 12 hour days a week. I’m not opposed to working hard or working long hours, but after all this time I miss being able to just relax after work and not be so tired I need to go straight to bed. I miss spending time with my family. I miss having dinner with them. It’s little stuff like this that builds up. I’ve been in sales for a long time, but never worked a job with these hours. But if you complain they make you feel bad about it, like you’re not a team player, like you have a bad work ethic, like you don’t work hard enough, etc. as if wanting to be with your family makes you a subpar employee. Turnover rate is pretty high. They’ll fire you for not reaching goals, instead of training you or helping you. But overall- i wish they’d pay better, especially with the amount of hours they make you work. It makes it not worth it when you break it down.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming

Cons

Gives false promises of growth in the company. The company no longer cares for customers and is doing all it can to cut costs. Screwing over employees and customers in the process. Management does not communicate decisions regarding changes to employees about their own department. Salaries are low. Does not clarify job expectations for roles until a problem in sales arises.
