We understand that the Publisher role isn’t the right fit for everyone, and we aim to be as transparent as possible throughout the recruiting process about the model. For those who are a good fit, it can be an incredibly rewarding opportunity.
Everyone - from publishers to designers and corporate office staff - is helpful and eager to see the whole team succeed. Other content coordinators are wonderful about sharing information that would be relevant to magazines outside of their area. Quarterly webinars also keep us abreast of what's new.
Cons
Some things within the software can occasionally be clunky; but IT listens to suggestions and always works to make improvements.
