Pros

You can work the hours you want to work. It fits in as either a full-time or part-time job.

Cons

I have only been there two weeks now. I have had issues with the report time link, which is where you enter hours worked. I contacted support four times and never heard back. There is not any other option to contact the company. The chat is for questions on projects and is moderated, but is mostly a community group where people answer each other questions. To sum it up: Company response is non-existent in my case. Have to chase down my pay, They do no pay for many "Qualification" tasks (This is taking tests and sample questions to qualify to get more work) I have not yet been paid for the work that is logged. There is still two days till I can request a transfer. So, I cannot speak to how the actual payment is working. There is a time period from when you submit work till those hours are approved and a payment request be activated. In my experience, I spent over 18 hours reading and taking tests that I didn't get paid for. So for me, it isn't a good option. I have read good and bad experiences all over the feeds on DataAnnotation. Some people have good experiences and others have similar experiences to mine. My time and skills are what I am selling and if I have to spend hours on unpaid activities, it is a red flag and I move on to other opportunities.

Pros

Make your own hours. Fun. Interesting.

Cons

There is no way to reach out to direct supervisors. The pay goes through PayPal instead of direct deposit, which is weird. When you need to show proof of your job there, it's really difficult.
