Pros

Solid pay and good jumping off point to something more meaningful. Health insurance entirely paid for by company. There are lots of great people that work there. They even paid for a trip to Hawaii once and they really hooked it up.

Cons

If you want to work here you better be prepared to work every minute you are on shift and beyond. On call weeks are an absolute nightmare and your weekend is guaranteed to be ruined because you will be so furious by the end of your half shift on Saturday that it will carry over until the next Monday. An avalanche of tickets will befall you at all times that extends far beyond the available manpower. In my 2+ years on tech team I saw things only get worse and any possible comforts dissolve with 0 concessions to the crew. Our immediate supervisor was an excellent guy to work for and I saw him get overworked and overridden at every turn. He finally turned in an overdue resignation and THEY NEVER REPLACED HIM. They instead allowed the tech team to flail desperately as the tide of unsurmountable ticket volume washes over them. Needless to say you are sure to witness very high turnover. Anybody operating at the director level and beyond make truly baffling decisions concerning personnel. I can even accept that they don’t care about their people’s morale but under the conditions I described it is bewildering to me that for their own good they don’t consider the customer experience.

Pros

Company paid employee healthcare, stocked break room, Christmas bonus, hybrid if you meet requirements, people are decently nice but there is definitely drama. I absolutely love my job as long as I’m left out of the politics of this place so it can be rewarding helping pharmacies which in turn helps patient care.

Cons

Hybrid…they are very very particular about wfh and not at all accommodating to changes if you have a sick kid or something on your office day you have to use PTO instead of switching wfh days. Very chaotic work environment. There are policies that change depending on your supervisor, which client you are speaking to, or just the weather (joking on that last part but not). Simple questions that should have a simple answer go ignored sometimes because no one has a clue what’s going on. Highest turnover rate of any company I have worked for, so you are constantly having to do the work of several teams as no one is there working. Low pay for the industry at least in my position.
