Pros
Knowledgeable staff, lots of staff members have worked for Fabick for 20+ yrs. Apparently Fabick WAS a wonderful place to work
Cons
- double standards from management. - communication barriers - unable to trust management - If an issue arises (ie not doing something job related correctly), other fellow coworkers will find out before employee. Employee Likely to not find out till review time or hear from other coworker (not manager) 1st. So hope you are a mind reader and never do whatever it was again. - be sure to document everything because you can be told one thing today and then next time you do it it is wrong and they want to know why you did it said way - managers able to hire friends to work under them.... this causes lots of issues such as favoritism and double standards - upper management have rose colored glasses on. When a manager has HIGH turnover you would think upper management would look into WHY this is happening but they dont. - lack of growth potential. Its hard to move up in an organization when all staff in a department have the same job title - you are told one thing in your interview but the actual job/duties/expectations are totally different - integrity issues, will be asked to do something that makes you ask yourself "should I be doing this" knowing the answer is no.
