      Great benefits but low pay and poor employee value

      Great benefits, remote positions in IT, separate sick bank from PTO bank

      Cons

      Low pay and difficult to achieve any raise, especially for loyal employees who have worked hard for years; newer employees get hired with less experience but much higher pay. Too much reorganization of teams and pushing out teams and employees. Understaffed teams; employees who leave do not get replaced so teams become overworked. Company does not value the employee.

      Flexible schedule and teamwork, but pay is low

      Flexible schedule-choose your own schedule Excellent teamwork and coworkers Benefits-Sentara owns their insurance company :) Easy to transition into a different role with additional training or knowing someone in the hospital
