Pros

I would have said health benefits, but not that great anymore....so...can't think of much else. The ceo is a nice man. Work/life balance is a pro for some employees, not all. Depends on who you report to...not consistent...see cons.

Cons

Cliques promote each other based on who you sleep with and/or who you are related to. If you have a degree, can do your job, don't gossip, and are honest you are a threat. Management either micromanages you or not at all. Fairness and honesty do not exist on some levels. Upper management is either clueless or just doesn't care about some of the incredible crap that goes on under their noses. The salary is not that great - even for developers. There's more cons...just too many to list.

Pros

If you are down on your luck and desperate for work this company will provide you with a mediocre paycheck. No education required, just make friends with upper management.

Cons

If you have a degree and maintain the ability to think critically, then you are a threat. If you work hard, do your job and don't walk around gossiping, then you won't go far within the company. In conclusion, incompetent management and insecure coworkers.

Frustrating and pleasant depending on the day

Pros

Good healthcare benefits, CEO is family oriented and pleasant

Cons

Salary is a battle to stay in competitive range, incompetent middle management, pressure to stay late even when all work is done just to show presence, pressure to come into office even when sick. Whiny project managers get rewards for resolving self created issues they've blown out of proportion as opposed to competent ones that don't have emergencies since they plan properly. Incompetent manager used to only managing by watching clock and monitoring people's communications rather than performance.
