Don't expect work-life balance once you sign the offer letter.... - Anonymous BILL Employee Review

Pros

-You get a free lunch every Thursday. -You get to wonder why only 1 person in the office gets to bring his dog in and nobody else can't. -You're in a Catch 22 where if you work 8 hours, you get to spend time with your friends and family BUT at the cost of work piling up. So if you work to prevent your work from piling up, you can forget about your ideal 8 hour work day dreams -Pay is decent but if you're on salary, expect to work about 60+ hours a week while management enforces "work-life balance"

Cons

-The only way you can move to another department within the company is if you are with your current department for TWO YEARS. That's pretty steep. I spoke with 3 employees who did their 2 years and when they finally got to transfer out their reaction was identical: "I did my time. I'm glad I survived. Now I can move on." -Taking time off or calling in sick is an adventure. It's almost like you have to hire a lawyer to represent you when explaining yourself why you had to take time off -The only positive reviews on here seem to be from upper management. Ask any non-manager employee how stressful it can be here and they'll say otherwise (and it doesn't involve a 5 Star rating)

Pros

- Bill has a superpower of hiring the kindest people. They're patient and humorous. And I mean every employee. - The work life balance is amazing. - They pay very competitively for Utah.

Cons

I don't have any complaints

Pros

The compensation package is pretty great. The Supplier Growth team has a floor commission policy that guarantees commission payouts without having to close any deals.

Cons

- The "product" is terrible. They charge 6 figures to basically generate a daily excel spreadsheet that's not customizable and can pretty much only be delivered to the customer via email. It's the worst SaaS product I've ever seen - The GTM strategy is focused on how to cause more pain for the prospects to force them into a purchase rather than actually trying to offer a valuable solution that solves problems - The "solution" that is sold addresses a problem that BILL itself created - There is 0 training whatsoever, you're given a mentor and are supposed to just reach out to them every time you need help with something, which is extremely frequent because there are a million ad-hoc tasks thrown at you that don't help you progress deals in any way - There is never a Close Lost deal. If you get a no, the expectation is to "find a new path" and continuously reach out to other employees at the company
