Elsevier is one of the top 10 companies with the best CEOs, according to BIPOC employees. BIPOC employees across 70,000 North American companies were asked questions pertaining to the inclusivity of their employers. The answers were then given a numerical score out of five and compared to companies of similar size. Diversity, equity and inclusion is more than just a passing workplace trend. But as more and more companies begin making DEI a core part of their institution, some stand out more than others. In 2022, 71% of companies reported that they had implemented many DEI-related actions since 2020, according to KPMG's 2022 DEI progress survey. In an effort to highlight a few, workplace review platform Comparably recently released its 6th annual list of Best CEOs and companies that champion diversity and support their BIPOC employees, based solely on ratings from employees of color posted to Comparably.com from May 2022 to May 2023.
