On Saturday, Sept. 21, Riverside Research’s Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (VERG) had the privilege of welcoming home over 100 veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Cold War/Vietnam era, as part of Dayton’s fourth Honor Flight of the year. This Honor Flight allowed these heroes to visit the memorials dedicated to their service in Washington, D.C. Upon their return to Dayton International Airport, they were met with applause and music from the Wright Patterson Air Force Band of Flight and the Centerville Community Band. Active-duty service members, Honor Flight alumni, and proud families joined the celebration, as well as representatives from various organizations, including Riverside Research. Terry (TJ) Hamrick, Technical Project Manager at the Dayton office, was there on behalf of Riverside Research and the VERG to warmly welcome these extraordinary veterans back home. Thank you, TJ, for capturing these moments!
Riverside Research proudly sponsored a hole and fielded two teams at the National Air & Space Intelligence Association’s (NASICA) Annual Larry L. Benson Scholarship Golf Scramble. Golfers teed off for a great cause—raising funds for scholarships benefiting the children of National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) and National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) personnel. This annual scramble is named in honor of Larry L. Benson, a former Riverside Research employee, who retired from the U.S. Air Force as an intelligence officer and later served as a senior representative for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. His legacy continues to inspire others through this event, bringing the community together to support a future generation of leaders!
