Five Warsaw-based team members who are veterans and are members of the Veterans Resource Group (VRG) were keynote speakers at a Veterans Day event and luncheon Nov. 11 at Wawasee High School in Syracuse, Ind. “This was another way for the VRG to give back to the community in which our veterans live and work,” said Jim, a leader of the VRG. “One of Zimmer Biomet’s guiding principles focuses on giving back, and this was just one way we could do that while also honoring our veterans.”

In connection to our first guiding principle that aims to respect the contributions of all Team Members, global Team Members will now be recognized with a Service Anniversary Leave the year they reach a fifth, tenth, fifteenth anniversary and beyond. Service Anniversary Leave allows Team Members an extra five days of time off to recharge, give back or develop professionally.

The app can immediately affect patients’ recovery experience after they undergo hip and/or knee procedures.
